Hi,
Picked up a new Dorcy AAA at K-Mart. It had new packaging advertising that it used a Nichia LED. Don't know whether this is a new version/generation or just new packaging. Still used a lens. Tint was a whitish blue rather than purple as in the recent versions that I have. Has about the same level of brightness as in previous lensed models.
