The only difference I notice is tint. The Rebel wins hands down.

So I got the last great torch (Rebel) that's only a couple weeks old and it's now going to be a collectors item in 2 weeks?
What sold me on the R100 was the smaller LED and it's ability to focus better.
The guys at the "store" told me they prefer the Cree, but I didn't listen.

The rebels also tend to have a smoother beam profile too.
I think you did fine, rebel 100 is efficient too. Enjoy your light, it's a keeper.

I agree, although mine is a L2D RB, Deff a keeper.

The P2D rebel 100 is defunct already? Darn! I just got nine and have decided to make it my EDC.
Oh well. I guess I'm not going to recommend it to friends and family.
