energizer hardcase 4d

Hello fellows, is there a led bulb that I can use to replace the stock krypton bulb on the energizer hardcase 4d( black and yellow), is not the all black with the k2. Any suggestions?

Very simple; Maglite 4 cell upgrade module or one of the Terralux one's.

Also, dorcydirect.com has one for $8 with free shipping. Works
with 1 to 5 batteries (1.5 to 8 volts). I just got one recently, nice
white tint, from 24 to 50 lumens bulb output, depending on voltage.

Not so fast! This lantern is wired so the terminal that contacts the tip of the base is NEGATIVE. Trying out a Maglite 3D LED bulb in it did not work and I suspect that it is because the polarity makes a difference. Yet after searching the web I find no LED bulbs that are replacements for the KPR113 indicating they are polarity independent or reverse polarity. I learned this from a google review of some kind of lantern that uses the big rectangular 6v batteries. So does anyone know of where to get a compatible bulb, or correct my suspicion?

Might be possible to put the batteries in backward in that lantern
