Big props to Wicked Lasers for bringing the entire hobby down a notch. I know the WL torch wasn't the first to start fires, but I can't see this being good publicity.

I guess that it might be a bad idea to let your kids play with one of those...

Most people who would build one would be cautious about the use.

The one who are not most people are unfortunately the reason why Darwin awards is in operation & going strong.

As the Darwin Awards website would have us believe, the Wicked Lasers Torch is the first and only flashlight to start fires, such a thing has never, ever been done before, and it's a weapon. :shakehead I don't know which of the two institutions disappoints me more.

Pretty funny that Mag Mods are getting mainstream exposure. It'll only be a matter of time until someone wins a darwin award with a flashlig...er...high tech photon extruder :twothumbs

LOL! Right on the lens? Was that easy to clean off?

Bill offered me the light as a prototype evaluator/reviewer. Needless to say I was sweating bullets as I headed to the sink for some water and dish detergent! It cleaned-up fine. :relief!: One of my friends had a bit more fun removing the marshmellow. :D Larry

Sensible flashaholics who would build one would be cautious about the use.
I certain that it might be a bad idea to let your pets play with one of those...
