Hello & a question from newbie!

I found this site through links in some other forums and it's become an every day read. I'm thinking it could be a bad place to hang out (for my wallet anyway). I've been reading 'til my eyes hurt, lots of great info and the lights are too cool.

I've been buying lights off and on for a while, mostly SureFire and Maglite which will be surely be up for some mods once I can make heads and tails of all the incan/led goodness here. I edc a SureFire 6P with the P60L and E2e with the KL4, another stock E2e is the family go to light with another 6P with a P60 and a 9P also with a P60L in reserve around the house. The lights work great but I'm looking to play with something a little brighter just for grins. Wanted to throw in a quick thanks for a great site also.

As to the question, I've dug up a couple incomplete SureFire lights that I'd like to revive. One is a Z2 or older 6Z and the other looks like a 6P but it has a different head, I've posted links to some pictures, hope that's okay if not I'll be happy to remove them. With all of the experience here I'm hoping for some tips or guidance on bringing these two back to life. I'm not ready to drop real big money on them but I do want to get at least one performing better than my current 9P. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

To me, big money means a Milky Mod ...

For a few dollars, the M60 Malkoff will blow you away:thumbsup:

I'll second the Malkoff M60 :twothumbs That drop-in module is amazing, I still can't get over how bright mine is! Excellent quality as well

Here is a list of P60 style LED dropin modules. The list should keep your head spinning with options for at least a couple hours.

get a leef 2x18650 body and a P91 or 2x17500 batteries and a lumens factory LA for your 9P. If you chose to do a incan mod please use good batteries like AW's http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=173892 and if you want a really bright LED there is nothing like a malkoff.

Look at the above LED drop-in thread. Most, if not all of those drop-ins will out lumen the P60L. The malkoffdevices one is regraded by most as the best drop-in.

I had a LF LA for a G2 as an EDC, and boy was that sucker bright! Of course, I paid twice the msrp for the G2, but that was stupidity on my part. So +1 for LumensFactory!

I'm thinking about doing one led (Malkoff M60) and one incan. Will have to check out the Lumens Factory stuff. I was also thinking about adding an extension for a third battery and running a M head but I'm not sure about that yet.
