hi, i was wondering is there any bi-pin bulb that can fit streamlight flashlights that has a high voltage?

how many volts is the strion, or stingers that uses bi-pin bulbs?

question being, i have a streamlight twin task 2L. the bulb is too low in voltage to handle rechargeable cr123 batteries. someone told me that i can put a strion or stinger bulb in there and mod it a bit to make it run nicely on rechargeable cr123 because the strion or stinger can handle higher voltage. but i am unsure of this. please any inputs is greatly appreciated. i am going camping soon and need the light to work. thanks.

Another time, another place.
The Strion and Stinger use 3.6v batteries. However, their bulbs run at a higher temperature than the standard 2L bulb and would probably melt your reflector, as well as do other damage to the light.

can i use any other types of rechargeable batteries? i do not mind if the brightness of the halogen is a bit dim for a trade of reliability and long runtime.

would using 1 rechargeable 17650 battery with the stock bulb or a strion bulb work?
