Do you need to use any sort of adhesive to put it back on or does it just screw on?

Sorry, I'm a bezel-noob.

It's threaded. It's even right handed to boot!!!

It screws on, and screws off= threaded.

... you'll want to make sure the o-ring is lubed. Threading a dry o-ring probably won't kill it, but its not something you want to do repeatedly.

There's no oring on the bezel of mine. The only oring is under the lens. There is no rotational friction on that oring, just pressure.

I took the o ring under the lens out and replaced it with a GITD one, but the the GITD one is thicker than the original and so I could not get it into the groove of the original o ring. I just put the lens over it and screwed down the bezel real hard....

Is this alright?? I did test it by running tap water comtinuously over it and the waterproofing does not seem to be compromised..

any thoughts on whether its ok for the GITD ring to NOT sit in the groove of the original o ring??

I dunno if it will survive a dunk...:D

I did the same with my GITD o ring and when I replaced the bezel I screwed it down very tight and It seems OK.
