Got the LF2x yesterday and used it at work last night on high for 1/2 an hour straight. First impression, this light was made for 10440's, on NiMh even my Tiablo A1 blew it away we won't even talk Fenix LOD Q4. This may be because of the floody beam. On 10440's the brightness was remarkable. Programming although tedious to set-up really worked well as I set one preset very low for close up work and the other at max for large area work. Switching between the presets is easy. This for me is a two handed light as the finish is glossy and slick (think car finish), with little knurling to grab hold of. The quality is great and the light reminds me of a well made piece of enamel jewelry. (A technical review is already on lightreviews.com.) Sort of reminds of a AAA Nitecore DI if they did a AAA light. (though not as bright of course) So for me it's a keeper.
