Cracks in SSC P4 Emitters ??

I dont know if these are cracks or if they are part of the diode covering, but every SSC P4 I see has the same 2 distinct lines ?? Sorry if this was posted before

You are probably refering to the lead wires connecting to the dies.....just my guess...Photo?

If every one you see has the same lines,
the odds are a million to one that they are,
indeed, the itsy bitsy wires that deliver electrons
to the emitter.
No photos needed. :D

You are seeing the two electrode leads to the LED die, if it is on every LED you own it is not a cracked dome, it is just the way they are supposed to be.

I used this pic from Viren just for quick access of P4, I figure they must be leads to the led, they just look like cracks, interesting to me I guess

The led of the left is the SSC P4, its pretty distinct
