I've tried searching but to no avail, can someone please tell me the easiest/ safest way to take the bezel ring off a SF C head to replace the lens with an UCL?

Thanks in advance

Here is my special tool made by 1.6t PCB.

I can easily open the bezel ring of Surefire and Aleph.

You can also try a pair of snap-ring pliers, available at most hardware stores.

HEAT!!! USE HEAT!!!

It will help loosen the crazy loctite surefire uses!.......trust me.....HEAT is a major factor in making bezel ring removal easier.

I used to use a heatgun, but a torch is faster......just BE CAREFUL not to get it TOO HOT....

Start out with a little....You can always add more heat if needed.

I have used needle nose pliers in the detents on the 6P bezels and it has been working to open 6P, M3, & KL2 heads. Ijust opened them until the needle nose ends fit into the detents, then turn...
