TerraLUX TLE-6EXB using K2 TFFC LED!?

So I just saw this

Is this using the latest K2 flip chip(I think that's what it is called).?

Does anyone have this version? If so please post how you like it. I searched around and found nothing on this new drop in.

I plan to use it in a 2D Mag with 2D batteries, is this ok to power it?

I have it and am not impressed, only slighty brighter than a stock mag, way dimmer than my P60 Cree P4 dropin.

try use it with a single li-ion & you'll be surprise.
i use to have the SSC P4 version that supports up to 6 D cell and power it with 2x18650 and it was a screamer.
But this 6EXB version only supports up to 4.5v or 3x1.5v or 1xli-ion = 4.2v because it uses boost circuit (that B letter stands for boost)
