Let's try to nip this one in the bud... there have been so many of these threads lately. The search function is handy, but unfortunately can be tough to get good results from as the only available operator is OR.

Check out Luminescent's post, he summarizes them nicely. Seems like the great majority of people use Nyogel for threads/o-rings and DeOx-It and ProGold for cleaning contacts (or good old rubbing alcohol). Look through that thread and there are plenty of other suggestions.
