guys I have some questions :

1) Whats the estimated emitter lumens that a Seoul P7 put out? Is it really much brighter than a Q5 or R2?

2) Also in terms of runtime on a Q5, how many hours can you expect from an 18650 compared to 2 x RCR123 and 17670?

Thanks for the help in advance.:grin2:

SSC P7s are basically four SSC P4s stuck together in parallel. Hence, it'll be about four times as bright (total output) as an XR-E or SSC P4.

For your second question, let's assume 100% efficient drivers. That's easier.

AW's RCR123A, 17670, and 18650:
0.75Ah * 2 cells = 1.5
1.60Ah * 1 cell = 1.6
2.20Ah * 1 cell = 2.2

So, independent of drivers, a single 17670 will have a bit more energy than a pair of 16340s, and a single 18650 will have more energy than that.

Runtime depends on how hard you want to drive the LED, what Vf it has at that drive level, and how efficient your driver is.
