Driver questions for UltraFire Cree C3 5-Mode

Hi All,

I am quite new on this forum and impressed by all the good job done here :thumbsup:

I have recently bought the DX ultrafire C3 (2AA) with CREE P4 emiter. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7938

I have already de soldered the led and tried to de-assemble the driver... But I cannot do it... It is completly stuck in the tube. So I can't see what is inside :thumbsdow

I would like to test this driver with 4AA NiMH.

Does somebody know what is is driver and if I can use it with 4 NiMH batteries ?

Another question relevant for this driver. Can I use it with a CREE Q5 led with the 2 AA original configuration ?
