Hi can someone tell me how much of a difference in output there is between the hi power and ultra power and if its really worth the extra 5$?.....On the kilimanjaro and shasta lights

To my eyes UP is twice as bright as HP but HP is going to give you much longer battery life, in real life situations HP is more than enough to navigate and see where you going.

IMHO, it's less about the cost and more about if you really want a brighter light. The Super Ultra Baltic that I have requires two cells to really shine (ok, bad joke) - to get the full expected brightness, you really need a two cell battery tube to make use of the highest power Peak lights.

If you call them directly, they should be able to get you EXACTLY what you're looking for!
