The 18650 Jetbeam looks interesting. I wonder if the Jet I is using the same UI as the Nightcore Defender?

...There may or may not be a post by JETBeam (Manuf. Forums) on these new lights Monday...

...There may or may not be more info on these lights on our site Monday...

...There may or may not be CPF'ers testing these as we speak...

    ...We know nothing until Monday...

Infinite brightness setting? sounds familier to anybody else...
looks like the new breed of flashlight will be the ones with programability.

+1. JetBeam has shown promise but I'm now a little skeptical about their spec's vs. real-world performance. Still, I have to admit the Jet III 18650 looks very cool but I'm waiting for the reviews.
Looking for: jhanko 'biohazard' V10R Ti clip, Luce de Notte (SS / Ti), SF Z2 (body, complete light, bored, unbored). Pls PM me with an offer.

    Oh no!
I've recently back-ordered the Jet 1 Pro - to be delivered in April.
How can I justify the 3 series Pro ??

Anyone want to buy a used Siamese Cat?

Well, maybe this time they'll get it right... (I already noticed the clip on the 18650 is pointed the wrong way :P ) But I guess I"m just plain picky.
    1) Neutral white, it's the new black. Heck, it's not even "new" anymore.
    2) User Interface... KISS.
    3) Proprietary cells and battery packs - Just say NO!

Gawd I want one. But doubt I can afford one.
Maybe I should sell a few of my current lights. =(
Having those three might be the best set ever....

Now while on this subject of one of my favourite flashlights "JetBeam" just was on Ebay and this seller is selling a Jet 1 Pro for $35.99 US, wow thats one hell of a drop from $75 in which they were selling previously, plus also it's brand new.

Has the pricing of the previous models dropped due to the new models come in ?

Ok perhaps I did but still when you compare it with the previous $75 JetBeam Pro 1 plus shipping, it's still in front. I will check to see how much the shipping is for the $75 Jetbeam.

    Pricing is up on BoG...

JetBeam must think we're all a bunch of idiots. They keep releasing lights that have problems, or fail to live up to the stated performance claims (at least in the first shipments), and they want to try it again?

I got burned on the first batch of Jetbeam C-LE's. I learned my lesson and sat back and watched people get burned on the Jet-I Pro.

Quick lemme pre-order another Jetbeam cause they're only going to make one run of them.

    I don't think so.

I have to agree. I must admit to having a soft spot when it comes to Jetbeam. They look great, and the specs (on paper) cannot be beat, but I have had too many bad experiences with them. Between the lost shipments, the drama of “he said, she said” about dealer relations, the poor after sales service, the poor reliability and the exaggerated claims, I have to say I'll sit this one out. I may be missing out on a killer light but I am not ready to be let down again. (Cannot afford it either).

This appears to be the third (at least) iteration of the Jetbeam company and I am still waiting for them to become a truly credible force in the marketplace. Each time they come out with fantastic claims of new quality control, or sorting out their dealer relations, or selling a new 500-lumen coin cell light or whatever.

Jetbeam, put together two or three solid releases in a row and I’ll gladly be singing your praises again.

The looks put me over the edge on this one and I ordered it from BOG, Hope I don't get burned, time will tell (Fingers crossed!) I really really want this light to be true to the specs.

I didn't see free shipping. Is there something special you have to do/say to get it? It's not an unreasonable charge . . . just wondering because someone mentioned free shipping.

Crackup Re: JETBEAM new IBS models for 2008 ?

Wow 225 TORCH lumens with 1 cell on a Q5 emitter looks very nice i wonder if chinese TORCH lumens are the same as US TORCH lumens
Unfortunately i don't have any single emitter light that puts 225 lumens OTF to compare it, well the OSRAM OSTAR 1000 lumen don't count because is hexdie.

I have had very good luck with my MKII.X and my MKII.R's. I had a flickering problem with one of my R's, and they replaced it without any hassle at all. I am extremely happy with Flavios products and service. I would recommend JetBeam to anyone. Can't wait until my MK IBS order is filled! I fully expect happiness to follow.
Are you still here? The message is over. Shoo! Go away!
