Any K2-TFFC LED drop-ins?

Title says it all - specifically P60 sized drop-ins would be of interest. I know there are loads of Cree drop-ins to choose from, a couple of SSC P4 based ones...

Cheers!

I thought the K2 was kinda inefficient? I'm missing something here maybe?

Then TFFC(Flip Chip) K2 is much more efficient, though still not as efficient as the better Crees and Seouls.

Luxeons seem to have better color and resistance to heat then the other LEDs though.

I have not seen any K2 TFFC drop-ins. Though there was at least one K2 drop-in.

Ah, so this is for a Nitrolon G2 then? It would still need a kick-down heat management feature then I'd assume. It would just go longer before the output dropped from heat?

To bad the old K2s were junk! And now the new K2 is hard to find, but I am glad to have on installed in my Gladius.

Details?

This was really an easy swap. The reflector I don't really care for, it creates a little donut in the middle. Plus a light that is so well put together and the they use a $5 reflector!?! I plan to replace that with an McR27L.

Here's some photos. I can do some beamshots if anyone wants them.

What everyone says about the color tint of the K2 and Rebels is true. They are excellent, to bad availability is low.

Not really, is that the Luxeons seem to be able to take more punishment then most other high power LEDs. It's still not recommended to overheat them.

I think many companies prefer the higher output of the Cree and Seoul to the better color of the TFFC K2.

i plan to make my own K2 TFFC drop in.
i have 1 K2T left,just finding the right reflector.
i have one with Rebel 080 and to my surprise the tint and the focal point in this drop in is so nice & warm, have been running it with 1x18650 no heat issue at all :)

another shot without the reflector

overall output - I'm pleased with it due to warm tint.
I just can't wait for the new Luxeon K2 TFFC Cool-white Emitters -- 250 lumens at 1A, 300 lumens at 1.5 A -- Tj of only 5.5 °C/W, part number: LXK2-PWC4-0250 or higher
