What\'s the next step after the E2e?

Had my E2e for about a year now and love the small size and brightness. Is there anything I can do to increase the brightness? What about recommending the next light?

AFAIK, the E2/E2e is max'd out at 65 lumens...

On a budget, you could step up to a C3 or 9P or if you can still find one, a D3.

I agree a 9v is a must for the next step then you can work your way up to a M6 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My next step would be the SureFire M3.

For larger and brighter lights, I'd recommand the M3. Great light! And I got the "charlie" tailcap for mine, which makes the light look even cooler. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

M3 as well. I don't like the current clickie. You can't use a V71 with it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I gotta second the 9 volt. The 9v ~100 lumen lamps obliterate the 65 lumen beam of the E2. Plus, for the size and cost, the 6 volt lights don't really amaze me since I've had the E2e.

But I hear the M3 is a fair-to middling light. I'm a big fan of the C3. My M2 bezel and p91 are on the way, total cost is $50-75 less than an M3.

Other possibilty is Dspeck. His UBH gives you 9 volts in a tiny package, and the E2C adaptor allows the use of a C2-HA bezel with a P90 or P91 lamp.

The M3 is a great light but I say go right to the top if you've got the money. Get the M6! No kidding, it's well worth it, especially since SF123's have gotten so much cheaper.

E2C adapter - w/6P or C2/3 bezel - and a P61 lamp assembly for 120 lumens!

blikbok's suggestion is very good. the C3 looks ugly, but looks a little better with the M2 bezel and its a very practical combination /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ooh, I like Sigman's idea. I completely forgot about the 6v lights with the E2c.
