Howdy bright people:
My son just got a 20 mode MTE AA from DX (sku 8752). After a small fall onto a wood floor it wont go on at all - any suggestions? I have contacted DX, but no response yet.

Thanks in advance

That's odd, such a small fall shouldn't kill it(I've done wore to mine and it still worked).

When you shake the light, if you hear something moving in the light, then maybe an electrical component broke off.

I agree, gunner, not a big fall. There's nothing rattling around in it either.

I had the same light for 1 week and dropped it about 3 feet and it quit working, what mine ended up being was the driver was bad. I just recieved my new driver "7880" and got it working again. I love the light but makes me wonder how durable it is when it cant take such a small fall.

If you can take it apart and de-solder the led from the driver then take 2 AA batteries in series and put 3 volts on the LED you should get it to light. If it does light then the driver is probably bad, if it doesnt light then the LED is probably the problem.
