Any ideea if the TIROS T1 ,T3 and T5 will accept RCR 123 ???
Or those will fry the LUXEON emitter and it's highly recommended for those RCR not to be used ???
Thanks !

Hi, Radu. Don't know for sure what the effect on the circuit, etc., would be, but I won't chance it. However, in any event, you'll probably have a hard time finding protected RCR123As that will fit.

You can use 1 unprotected RCR123A and a dummy cell, or try to find a slim unprotected 17670 (AW's unprotected is a bit too wide). I've got a couple of unprotected 17670s en route from Kaidomain that I'm hoping will fit.

Im not sure how relevant the following is since I have no personal experience with the lights you mentioned, but currently I am using Tenergy 3v RCR123 900mah in my inova xo3. Now I can 'play' with it more often. :D
