Fenix L1D Q5 vs Jetbeam Mkii-R

Hey guys...

i've been pulling my hair out trying to decide which one to get.... can anyone help me decide?!?!

which is brighter... better beam... weight... UI... runtimes????

I don't have a L1D CE Q5 (I have the P4 version), but I think I can comment on this one.

Don't get a MKII R. I'm a huge Jetbeam fan, but the MKII R is not worth it.

The Fenix is an outstanding light. The only con's I have with it are just nitpicks.

THe MKIIR has a very inefficient driver circuit. The beam dispersion isn't very good. The output is not impressive on 1.5V batteries.

If you like the Jetbeams, I suggest waiting for more reviews on the new MKII IBS, which is available soon at bugoutgear.

Skip the MKII R.

i've been reading and reading and reading... and they all say that... so i guess the mkiir really isn't that great.... love the look of it tho...

hopefully the ibs will be better...
