We left on Sunday night for our annual Mother-In-Laws birthday / My wife and my Anniversary / My mothers Birthday trip ( MIL BD 3/26 Anniversary 3/27 Mothers BD 3/28). This year we spent some time in Marquette and Sault marie Michigan, you might say a tour of the Michigan UP casinos.

Well, it started snowing and raining Monday night, and turned to full blown blizzard on April Fools day by Marquette where we were staying. We ended up getting 20 plus inches of snow that night and day.

We were traveling fairly light, 6 people in one minivan, (not my idea!!). I only took with me my Fenix L0PSE and my Streamlight Stylus Pro, well also my two Photon IIs which never leave my keychain. Everyone in the group also had a Photon II on their keys that I have given them. Traveling light does not mean, without light ;).

They came in dang handy when we lost power for a few hours in the motel.

Good story of family conversions. That's pretty amazing that they all had lights because of you.

Thanks, I am a BIG believer in the best flashlight is not the brightest, but the one you have on you constantly. The Photons are small and light enough that everyone is fine carrying one on their keychains. No other light I have tried has gotten such universal appoval from all my family members. Most would not even carry something the size of a Solitare constantly from my experience of giving over the years.
