i have the older type 2d and 6d with the internal clip, how the hell does any one get them out and can you use the lastest type in it's place many thanks DocD
help can't get swich out of my m*g !!!!

Great question. To remove the old switch, you will need to unscrew the retaining ring located on top. If you do not have appropriate wrench, a long pair of needle nose pliers usually works nicely. The remainder of the removal process is the same but the switch slides out from the top instead of the bottom (newer style). The old/new switches are not interchangeable.
