SF KX2 questions

Will the KX2 head run at lower output on one cell? Will it run at all? If so, will it still give two levels of output albeit lower?
Also, is the TIROS "frosted" to spread the beam?
I've ordered a KX2 60/3 output version. I haven't got it yet but neeeeeed to know. I'm sure you understand!

Here is a quick answer: my kx2 won't turn on with 1cr123. It works correctly with 1 rcr123, but the high is not as powerful as with 2 cr123. The TIR is not frosted. I'm very happy with it, it's quite bright on high and the beam tint is very pleasing.

Hi Phil, it's about 43mm long and the diameter is 29mm.

Francois- a quick note: surefire optics are not referred to as TIROS, they are simply TIRs, TIROS is an Inova trade mark for their custom optic

The KX2-BK head works well on the E1B Backup body, too! Now you have a rechargeable E1B (Using an RCR123 3.7 v battery)

I see there's a KX2C (at opticshq, not on Surefire website) -- 120 lumens, $135.
