Hi,

I have this simple question. What is the Kelvin rating for the Dereelight DBS V2?

That depends a lot on the bin of the LED used.

It's now as simple at HIDs or Incas. LEDs vary because of the way they are made and are sorted later. The Q5s are made in the same line as the P4, they get sorted later by how they perform and what tint they have.

But what is the average Kelvin rating for a Dereelight DBS V2 3SD?
5000k? 5500k? 6000k? 6500k?

Can anyone come with a more precise estimate than 6300 to 7000k?
No, they can't. :shakehead Even that's a wild guess.

Here's the graph from the Cree Datasheet and how the bins fall on the CIE chart. The Black Body Curve is the dotted curved line that you'll see run though the middle. Depending on the bin of the LED in your light your DBS could be nearly anywhere on the CIE chart, and even once you know what bin you're in, you still don't know anything beyond that.
