loose tailcap on surefire

My tailcap on my G2 has very little resistance..(not tight) I put some of that plumbers teflon tape on the threads..this tightened things up a bit. Anyone forsee any problems by doing this? I can not think of any but who knows. I just prefer it to be tight so it does not accidently turn on while in my pocket or in it's holster etc. My other G2 has a nice tight feel to it. Anyone else experience this? I know surefire has good service but rather fix it from my end..The teflon tape will probably wear thin with little use and it will be back to being loose again..thanks

I think some people have found a fatter o-ring achieves a similar result.

thanks. do you know what size o-ring it takes? I can buy some that size and a bit bigger to see if that helps. I just am not sure what starting point to try as far as size goes. That sounds like it will work...never thought of the o-ring..that is why you guys are so good as source of info. glad I found this site.
