Small wonder.
Just look at finance.google.com and check the $ value vs just about any other curreny during the last 24 months.

As there is no infinite potential to save money, so they have to adjust at some point.

On the other side, this might give american manufacturers a bit of a chance to get more of a foothold in the export market.
If they manage to "get it".

Agreed, it could prove to be good for the American economy - with the exception of inflation.
