I did a search but didn't come up with much...

The SF D2 is a 6P with a pocket clip but it's been discontinued.
And I'm not into holsters much, so I'd like to find a pocket clip for my 6P's.

Has anyone come up with an elegant solution for adding a sturdy pocket clip to a 6P?

It would seem that should fit the G2 also... Would it fit between the head and body (instead of tailcap)?

The NovaTac will fit both, but bezel down due to smaller diameter @ tail.

Another key is that if either the 6P/G2 has the LOTC it probably won't work unless using an o ring/ glow ring( not sure if that is correct name ). However, if you have a clicky tailcap, it should work fine.

I'm using the Leef hex body tailcap w/ both a 6P & a G2 and the clip is solidly in place on the lights. Some folks have drilled/ attached clips, but this proved to be a quick solution that works great.

I've put them on all of my 6Ps, and love them - regardless of the tailcap.

Certainly one of the best changes I've made to the flashlights.

The outside diameter of the 6P body, where the lanyard ring rides, is 0.872".

The inside diameter of the 120P clip ring is 0.948".

The 120P clip will fit on a 6P, just as my size 12 feet will fit in size 15 shoes - it slides around quite a lot.

FWIW, the Surefire lanyard ring has an ID of 0.884". To get a clip to fit the 6P body, you'll want to find something close to 0.884".
