First: Are they as bright on 18650 as on 123's?

Second: Do thet REALLY run over 3 hours on High? I find that hard to believe.

Thinking about getting one...thanks!

1) No, but it isn't that much dimmer.

3) To 50% on a good 18650, yes.

Check this review. There should be more runtimes in the review section.

poor regulation with an 18650 - a Tiablo A8 Q5 is better for that.

For a thrower check out the DBS v2. Better all-around IMO - I sold my A9.
