I recently bought a U2 from BST as an interim as I cant wait for the new U series lights any longer :D

Very pleased with it and it is now my bedside light at home but I dont like clips and had a bit of a play around and managed to take it off and then popped a grip ring and a couple of spacers from a Z2 on instead.

Excellent set up that gives a really good grip and, even better, allows me to use a V72 holster either bezel up or down in case I want to try it as an alternative duty light. The fit in the holster bezel up is not quite as tight as a 6P in a V70 but it can be shaken several times upside down before falling out.

This might have been done loads before here but I could not find it.

I did something similar to my modded Kroma. I added a grip ring from a Surefire M2. I find the flat side of the grip ring fits perfectly under the SS clip.

That makes two of us  I had never used the U2 before, I'm very impressed with it.
