Black Nuwai Q-III modded with:
- Cree Q5 emitter
- Emitter mounted directly onto custom aluminum heatsink
- Mineral glass lens
- 2 stage tailcap for: OFF-HIGH-LOW-OFF
This is in EDC condition, meaning it has some wear on the black paint in tiny specs here and there, so while it's no shelf queen, it's still a good looking, ultra reliable companion. Paint is about 95%, with most of the wear on the knurling so it certainly doesn' t look heavily used. Knurling is still very grippy. Operates on 3.7v batts only rcr123 or 17670 (keep reading!). On HI this thing is a blaster, running direct drive 1A to the emitter. On LOW it's about 30 lumens. The beam is classic Q-III, smooth, powerful flood with a soft hotspot in the center (no cree rings!).
Also included is a black kydex dual holster by Litemania. This is an awesome holster for carrying the Q-III, AND a spare rcr123. It has a GITD dot on it for finding it on the nightstand. It can be seen here at the bottom of post #2 http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/sho...d.php?t=108356
ALSO ALSO inlcuded - is a custom made black aluminum extender tube to allow the use of a 17670 cell for extended runtimes. In this format, it's really slim, and the pocket clip can actually be used on your pocket! The body size is comparable to a Surefire E2 series body. The Q5 heads I've seen for E-series lights are great but make the head of the light VERY big. This is much more compact and carry-able.
