At this price you get the so called entry level tactical lights but nonethless there are great choices, however may i ask what kind of duties will the light given?
If you make a living kicking down doors and blinding dangerous criminals every night i shall say that you should get the best you can afford, I have some really coo suggestionsl.
Tk10 however i will not qualify this light as the ultimate tactical because it does not have strobe however, It is very nice since is one of the rare lights that comes with forward clicky from Fenix. I will advise against using the clip because it will prevent you from a quick draw, however it is PROVEN to stop a 9mm round at
point blank range UBBER TACTICAL you will not have the need for a body armor you will be lighter have more mobility, just place a Tk10 over your vital organs you will run faster be more efficient and the plus side of always having a light under reach. A great choice if strobe is not important to you.
Dereelight DBS is very tactical IMO as you can change the POWER pills or Light Engines and you can tailor to each mission 's need such as single level for situations of high stress as 1 easy access mode is a must, you may use the pill with 3 different levels if you want to use it in a covert mission it will give you a low low, a retina burning high and even a strobe to disable your oponents and may also serve as a signal for the extraction helicopter. The only drawback is that the Glow in the Dark tailcap may give away your position in the dark, An easy solution is to spray paint it camouflage to blend in with the rest of the gear.
If you want AA factor and still having being tactical your best bet is the Nitecore Defender Infinity, sometimes is hard to get CR123 when you are shipped abroad specially when is a secret mission, they even come with a lanyard made with tactical paracord carrying extra paracord is always necessary for emergency situations, how cool is that even the name is tactical can't beat that. I mean really cool so cool that the light is capable of emitting a bliding beam with a single AA with the plus of having strobe, have different modes even infinite brightness, and a clicky so easy to activate that will not be a problem even with the thickest gloves. It does give you the tough warning of "warning strong light" however these were limited edition and may be harder to find since the newly revised version the warning was omitted to make the light more market friendly to the rest of the mortals or general public since the warning may be too sensitive for some people.
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE TACTICAL LIGHT in my humble opinion.
I do have some other lights, however to me these are the most tacticool lights that fits your given budget. If in doubt as all flashaholic buy all, if you don't like any of them you can sell them at the BST because there is a great market for tactical lights from the 2nd world.
