I have a lot of regular AA eneloop and rayovoc hybrids. just want to ask if it is a big difference seen with running 14500. I did look at the many charts but would like to hear from everyones opinons.
when running 14500 how often do you need to recharge without usage?
output noticable with naked eye?

thanks

I have a question, if the demand for AA lights are so high and people want to get away from primary lithiums such as CR123, why is it that the majority wants to go back to a lion set up. A 14500 battery hahve the same capacity of a RCR with a bigger form no advantage there  I have some AA lights and i feed them with alkalines.

The NDI is slightly brighter on 14500s and has a longer runtime in lower power regulation.
14500s aren't necessary, but it does seem happier with them.

i think its more of the fact that we want AA lights that are Li-on competible, because using Li-ons are more energy efficient...but we also want the option to use AAs when we have no access to our chargers...thats why i carry my NDI in LITEmania'a kydex holsters, with Li-on inside, and Lithium AA in the spare battery "dual" part..
