I've made ones for other lights but made these just for the Novatacs. Have
them mounted in our vehicles, the RTV900, tractor, and fishing boats.

It sits deep enough in and the fit is such it won't bounce out.
The components are simple Carlon electrical PVC fittings.
The Body is a 1x3/4 reducer bushing, mated to a 1" strap,
secured by two large rivets.
Carlon makes a few variations of the reducer bushing, this is
the only one I've found works perfectly for flush mounting.

I'm thinking that I could use 3M double sided tape! Put a flat plate on the back if you need to.

I laughed so hard reading and visualizing this that my wife was giving me some funny looks! A piece of 6" PVC should do the trick. :naughty:

Now all you have to do is dip it in some black Plasti-Dip and it will match the interior of the truck. I have a Mustang and I keep looking for places to put my Novatac. I'm not brave enough to put any holes in my car.

great looking holder but what if you had big crash or worse, rolled would the light still be in its holder for quick easy access or would it be rolling around your car.

My wife rolled her Jeep back in late December. The inside was a mess, she had a large casserole
sitting on the front seat as was very very lucky the glass dish didn't hurt her bad. Never thought
about the light until a few days later we were cleaning the inside and I noticed the light (SF L4)
still in it's place covered in sweet potato.
Her Jeep she had for 9 nine years and 298,000 miles ended up going for parts. I mounted another
holder in her new CRV in the same fashion. May not be a bad idea to add one-side sticky rubber tape
around the inside to give it a little extra grip.
Her L4 holder allows it to sit bezel up with the body dropping well down through the bottom.
