Iron Man was a real pleasure to see in the action/sci-fi genre.

I never was much into comic books but comic book based movies will sometimes get my attention and this one sure did. For those of you that like gadgets and fine machining this movie is a visual treat. There's a few pretty girls, pretty cars and pretty motorcycles to keep you entertained. Robert Downey Jr, Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow show some of their acting prowess with a script that allows just the right amount romance and humor to keep the audience interested.

And he does a good upgrade on his EDC light that's impressive. I think there are more than a few super heroes that are members of CandlePowerForums.

I always liked the song.... But if you listen to the lyrics, it's a pretty folked up song. (If you know what I mean).

Their Iron Man is no hero. Not at the end.

I wonder why some people think it is good to post spoilers, some people like to watch the movie without knowing for some strange reason...

ill admit that i only went and heard the song after reading that iron man was inspired from the song, if only in name..

i always get too caught up in the guitar playing to concentrate on the lyrics..

Call me crazy, but I didn't like it! I found it to be tedious and formulaic. However, I will still be sucked for $11.50 for the two sequels. The odd thing is, I was the first in line for this movie on Friday night with my friends. (No, literally, we were FIRST in line for the 9:15 pm showing.)

I loved Spider Man I and II though, and will definitely be down for Batman Dark Knight!! And don't even talk to me about Indiana Jones...

Hit or miss for Marvel. Remember the Hulk and Daredevil? I liked this one. I get into a big argument with my buddy at work. If it has special effects out the wazoo it is great even if the movie's plot is thinner than the plot in an adult movie. Or if the plot spins around in circles going nowhere.

I tick off my bud by pointing out that Star Wars is a pretty good 2 hour movie that you sit through six hours of. And my #1 Sci-Fi flick is still Forbidden Planet.

Daredevil was never that popular. Not sure why they chose that one for a movie. I gotta agree, they totally screwed up the Hulk. Then again, that's what you get with Ang Lee...:thumbsdow
Hopefully, this year's Hulk will kick butt.

Hit or miss for Marvel. Remember the Hulk and Daredevil?
