Hello all .
Up for sale is a Titanium Aleph19 with a McGizmo clip and polished.
TBA19.jpg

This light started when I picked up the empty McGizmo A19 head, had an idea and really wanted a clip for this light so I got a C-pack long clip from Don and had Scott (Tranquility Base) make up a CR123 body and smooth tailcap and mount the clip to it. It turned out awesome!! The clip is very useful and the end rests perfectly on the upper lip of the battery tube so when you remove the head to change batts, the clip does not drag on the head, avoids marring or scratching the head.
It is finished off with a PEU stainless steel bezel loaded up with 3 green trits, McR19 XR reflector and a LE using a Cree P4 being driven by a Mike Jordan SDC1000 converter. I had a Flupic driving a P4 in it originally but the Flupic for some reason quit working so I put the SDC in it because this light was mostly a wow light and a shelf soilder! For a multiple output config, a Flupic or the like is best because twisting the tail cap is not practical with the clip attached. More shots

And of course, it is finished off with a mirror finish polish job done by me! I will include a freash AW RCR123 with this light.

Beautiful proportions.

The smooth tail and head with TB's checkered body really go well together.

I wasn't aware of any empty McGizmo Ti A19 heads.

I would be all over this if I wasn't already expecting a very nice Ti A19
head from another source. :naughty:

Anyway, best of luck with the sale. You won't need it. Its a very fair
price.

WOW very nice.... 2 Questions:

1. Is it a one piece body & tail, or two?

2. What did you do with the old Flupic, could it be included? I understand it's crapped out.

thanks,

thom

Its a separate body and tailcap. The clip is mounted on the tailcap. :)

Thanks that's what I thought.... So if the clip rests on the edge of the body to protect the head what do you think it would work like on a 17500 or 18650 body? Should it just be removed if used that way?

I imagine that it would lay on the batt tube of an 18650 but the clip may not provide enough "clipping" force to be usefull, unless it was bent in towords the tube a bit.

You have back up if ness. Thanks.

Nice score.. I purchased a light from luxlunatic and while back, the polish job is fantastic. I had to fight myself from buying this, I.E. the wife would have killed me, since I scored a SPY007. Enjoy
