What kind of P60 LED module does it accept? Will it accept a DX/BOG type that is fatter around the base? Or will it only accept a Surefire P60L... slender base that uses a large contact spring?

thanks

Sorry I can't help; I was asking about Pelican lights last week. It appears that there is a dearth of information about Pelican products. Funny how I was posting this reply at the same time as Illum_the_nation.

I found a picture of a stock Pelican lamp at Product Wizard here, but have not bothered to compare lamp and spring shape with any other BOG or SF lamps.

The M6 can't accept a normal "P60" drop in without significant modification.

There's also two versions of the M6: one with the screw-in lamp and the newer version had a lamp module (integrated reflector). Both are interchangeable.

hmmm... i bought a Cree LED lamp module some time back. SG$30 apiece, on package it stated above 150lumens. it has a removeable large spring to fit newer Pelican M6 w/o threads.

on the module, it stated:- "CREE LED made in USA DC 4.5V-9V www.mteccd.com"

hope that helps. :)
