My surefire g2l's tailcap has decided to stop working today and I was planning on taking it apart but I cant seem to figure it out. I searched and I could only find info on the one with a hex nut, and mine doesnt have this. Any help would be great, thanks

But in a nutshell, dmz got it right. My advice: Either exchange the light or call Surefire for a replacement tailcap (covered under warranty).
Just out of curiosity, how do you know it's the tailcap that's faulty?

I sent them an email, that would work wouldent it?
Also I switched the tailcap with one from another g2 I have and it worked great.

I have had no luck with there e-mail system. I would call them. They great customer service. They can be slow. WMMV.
