So what’s the deal with the Q5 and the task force

So what's the deal with the Q5 and the task force. I have read that you can drop one in:twothumbs. Is that a true statement or have I been misinformed:mecry:. Is all I have to do is pull out the Cree and solder in the new LED? Will it run fine with the regulator / give about same runtime, and well obviously how much will it's brightness increases.

Mainly what you have to do is unsolder two points, and solder two point. It's just an LED swap. No other change needed unless you want something more.

P4 to Q5 is around a 30% increase in output.

Where is the best place to buy a high quality Q5 LED? I went to dealextreme and found a Q5 Cree http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2394 , but it looks identical to the black board led that comes with the task force?
