6x17670004.jpg

This genuine M*glight shortened and rethreaded to size of 2.5D. Inside is tri bored to accept 3x17mm cells accross. Outside body has cross machined for maximum grip and head is conical finned for unique look and maximum heat dissipation. Completly stripped, highly polished and chrome plated to mirror finish.
Battery holder is connected in serial to accept 6x17670 (6x3.7=22.2 volt, 1600mAh) excellent for multi Cree mod or 3P/2S (2x3.7V, 4800mAh) excellent for Philips 5761
For optimum output and 20 minutes run time, I recommend using serial battery holder to overdrive 12 volt bulb. This set up is much brighter than M*g85
You have choice of without or either type battery holder or even both.
You also have choice of finned chrome head (Original shape and no conical)
No aluminum reflector, Boro lens and bi pin socket included.
2.5D Chrome plated flashlight without battery holder $130
2.5D Chrome plated flashlight with one battery holder of your choice (6S or 3P/2S) $170
Optional Chrome plated FM3V-2 $170 With purchase of flashlight
Extra battery holder $40 each
SS bi-pin hi temp socket $17
Brass bi-pin hi temp socket $14
JC G4 12V, 35W bulb available here.
Boro lens $6.5

Hi FM

My possible interest in this light would be if I am able to run one of those 100 watt bulbs in it. I also do not like the size of the 3D cell mags. How much shorter is it than a 3D.

You also have a 2 1/4 D for sale on another thread.

My desire is to run one of these with AW's (that has 4 modes) switch and a 100 watt bulb.

I know you are selling one that is designed for the LuxLuthor battery packs. This is not the set up I am interested in. Am looking for a bit more run time.

Best,

Well I just got my light today and it is impressive. My wife even likes it. At least she liked it until I turned it on a newspaper and had open flame in about 5 seconds. I couldn't play with it too much as I was impatient and broke one bulb putting it in the holder and melted a cloth I was using (to keep me from getting burned) pulling it out all over the other bulb and buggered it up too. I am currently just playing with a generic 20w mr16 until I get some new bulbs for it. It is definitely my prettiest light and more of a performer than I was expecting. I have no idea about runtimes or anything else. I am too much of a newbie to provide a lot of useful information, but it has impressed the heck out of me in the short time I have had it. Thanks to fivemega for a well crafted light that I will hang on to for a long time.

Do you think this will fit the 2 of the protected D Li-Ions available from Kai Domain and DX as they're longer than primary cells.

I use the 6x17670 battery holder in my Surefire M6 (with 2 of FM's extensions) and it is absolutely awesome (brigter than my headlights on high beam).

What a great light with cheap bulbs and fairly small size. Beautiful too.

I can't believe that these 2 remaining lights have not been "eaten up". I wish I had gotten one of these instead of the 8x14670 (since FM's bulb is no longer available, I use it with a cheap chinese 12 volt bulb instead which is bright but not like FM's bulb).

Grab these quick before I grab one.

Iliger,

You are gonna love this light. It is truly my favorite creation of Fivemegas. I use the battery holder in my M6 and this $2 bulb is fantastic with this battery setup.

I'm waiting impatiently for it... :) To my mind its capabilities will be significantly greater with 6 IMR 17670 (i hope they will be available soon) and hotwire driver.

Fivemega,
can you make a tri-bored body for one FM 3x17670 M6 Battery holder? Stripped and chrome plated like 2.5D is better. Or simply silver at least. I'm planning to use it with WA 1185 bulb.

He did a run of these here, but they are sold out and I don't know if he is planning to do more of them.

Thank you! I'll buy it with pleasure when it will be available. The body without a head is preferable. But if it is not possible then the whole flashlight.

This is a VERY impressive and cost effective setup. Someone will be sorry they didn't get this. I already have this setup, or I would.

I had the battery holder in my M6 (with 2 of FM's extensions) and it is incredible. Moving to LED's so I sold my M6:(.

You just can't go wrong with this light. I put it up against my headlights and it won!!!!!!

Oh, and it is real pretty to look at.
