I was wondering if a Z59/Z58 click on tailcap will work on a Surefire Kroma? I recently bought a Z58 tailcap for my Surefire M4 and I tried it on my Kroma. It activates high mode only. the red and blue Led's can also be activated by turning the power selecter. Is there anything wrong with using it like this?

Yes you can use the switch if it works, but the original tailcap is two stage. The low is is limited by a resistor located within the cap itself.

I also found it interesting that the Specification chart found in the back of every Surefire catolog show the Kroma with a Z59 tailcap on it.
