I can't help in the slightest, but I'm curious if there's any particular reason you're using ME.

Mainly it is due to the fact that i have yet to upgrade my laptop to a new one with XP, due to bills etc.
Also it is that over the years I have highly customised my computer & I have it running just how I like it.
And as I am mainly using it for CPF, internet, Office, playing mp3's, viewing pic's and reading text files.
So for what I need it for it is very good.

I believe the 700wx software is compatible with Windows 2000. I'd see about finding someone with a Win2000 CD and reloading your system with that. Infinitely more stable than ME, supports most XP software and runs faster, and doesn't require activation or registration.
