Lightsaver for LED?

Anybody know why the Lightsaver strobe tailcaps say that they can't be used on LED's? Why wouldn't they be able to? Has anybody heard about the strobe tailcap for LED's that they are supposed to make?

I don't see why they can't be used for LEDs.

Incans I understand but LEDs have no problem with being switched on and off multiple times.

I'm also waiting for this tailcap. In the interim I've discovered and am using the Optics HQ TLS tailcap.

So far it has fit the bill for me in that it has great variable brightness w/ strobe capability. Am currently running it w/ C2 & 6P led platforms.
