Note that SureFire's proprietary plug & socket is quite stiff to prevent accidental disconnection. You'll need some cable slack available to easily (quickly) disconnect it because it's a snap-fit that requires a bit of a jerk/yank to unplug.
P.S.
Don't pull the cable in an attempt to unplug it - always pull whilst gripping the plug. Some people suggest a little twist of the plug in the socket as you're pulling it out can help ease it out.
You may find that the cost of the XM00 (no tape pressure switch supplied) and the STxx tape pressure switch cable (of xx whole inches length) is almost as expensive as puchasing an XM07 (7" cable seems to be the most popular cable length) and the STxx you want. Something to consider. This is especially the case if you shop around for the XM07. Not as many Dealers offer the STxx or even keep them in stock.
There are SureFire Dealers specialising in supporting the WeaponLight side of the market. The important thing is to shop around to find the Dealer that best supports your needs.
