PT Impact, Brinnkman long life, UK aaa e-led

They all use a lens for focusing the beam tight. Which one has a better beam?

PT impact too. Brinkmann has a dimmer beam compared to impact. But impact uses 4AAA though (i think). Dunno about UK

I don't have the PT or the UK: but ANYTHING is going to have a better beam than the LongLife.

I like the Longlife, but not for it's beam quality.
Cheap, reasonably rugged, readily available in common retail outlets, great runtime, but with a genuinely horrendous beam.

I just got one of the UK eled lights today and like it. Suprisingly bright with a very decent throw. Noticable artifacts and color bands, but not too bad when you point it at something other than a white wall.

I have not played with an Impact, but I like the UK better than the Longlife or the Impact II.
