I have a shipment of Nichia GS keychain lights coming in, I just want the LEDs to upgrade my Photons. However, looking through the archives about modding a a Petzl Tikka got me curious...While a DS Tikka would be nice, what about getting an ancient Photon Fusion and replacing the BS LEDs with GS? I've never handled one nor do I know how easily it comes apart, but it's a very versatile design that never caught on and therefore never got decent LEDs. Has anyone else tried modding one of these?
