Maybe I`m just lucky,

but my orange E01 has 100% colour match between it´s body & head.

I´m still not sure if this is "orange" or "golden", anyhow it´s a nice colour.

P.S.: Just for the record - really purple tint, brighter than a CMG infinity ultra, on par to my L0D CE on "low"

I think that it is cool to have a two-tone light!

cool yes, but considering the fact that the E01 is around 1 part bezel 5 part body...it would look cool if the two tone E01 is 3 part one color 3 part another color...but not in the case of the current E01s, also note that the variation of anodizing effects are also allocated in Surefire's "hard anodized olive" colors also. Apparently the issue exists in the anodizing process, and despite the apparent dislike, note that its often inevitable considering parts are often made separately prior to assembly. If they are anodized in different shops, well...you get the point :ohgeez:

Orange in this case is a dye used during the anodizing process and apparently Fenix had it mixed pretty even...just like "Size15" E1e and of course the purple A2
