I'll take it--goes nicely with the chrome one you sold me.

And, the batteries, too, please.

BTW, I did manage to mod the chrome version to make it even possible to install the 18500's and then tighten down the head.

Nothing major--just cut down the switch's overly long spring and bent it into submission so that it contacted the end of the battery with a smooth tangent.

Seriously, I almost was ready to send the chrome one back to you as I couldn't get the head to close after installing the battery.

Now that I'll have two, perhaps an LED mod might be appropriate.

I think you mean 18500's

Thats what had me so interested, how you could get 18650s to fit.

The quick & easy LED mod for this life is a D36 drop-in from PTS. They have Q5 and R2 models which take up to 13V.

The only adaptation needed is to file down the front of the reflector an mm or 2.

Not as bright as the incan versions, but much better runtime.
