It hasn't hit the newswires yet but I just heard it on the evening news. A comedy legend, well known for his roles in The Carol Burnett show and several films, including his role as Hedley Lamarr in Blazing Saddles.

Goodnight, funnyman. Tugging on my earlobe for you. :candle:

**Edit** Just found the first story here...

One of the great funny men, paired with Tim Conway they made me cry laughing each week on Carol Burnett. He still had it on the last special I saw with the Carol Burnett gang reunion.

His work in Blazing Saddles was classic. He will be missed.

Very sad:mecry:

When I was growing up, I use to watch the Carol Burnett show with my brothers and sis.

I always loved watching him and Tim Conway together. They would always make each other laugh during a skit.....

My prayers are with him and his family

Bummer, indeed. I always enjoyed his humor. His comic timing was perfect.

I grew up watching the Carol Burnett show. It was a special event for us, and I remember laughing so hard I cried.

RIP.
