Well, I did all the measurements of the Angel A and C lights, the AW 17500 cell without the sticker and came to the conclusion that the Angel A could be bored out to accept the 17500 cell. I tried to slide the 17500 cell into the Angel C and it was a tight fit but it went in although a little hard to pull out. Because the + and - contacts are springs, the overall length is not critical and the only conversion would be the internal diameter. The narrowest outside diameter of the light is 17.7 mm (the logo flat sections) and the 17500-cell diameter is 16.9 mm. I think that this could work, anybody want to have a go at this?

That sounds like a good idea.

What would be gained by using a 17500?
I'm guessing more run time.

The heads seem to be interchangeable.
I bought an Angel A with all the bells and whistles, and an Angel C with High/Low.
I switchem' around all the time.:twothumbs

Yeah, just that, longer run time......boring out the body would be all that is required.....
